For Immediate Release 9/28/07
Atlanta based life coach and author, Tommy
Newberry, whose motto is to "Think Huge!", proves
that positive thinking can result in great success! Newberry
is not yet a household name, but within weeks of its release,
his latest book, The 4:8 Principle
(Tyndale House Publishers) has
already made sales history, and has sent the publisher rushing
back to press for their fourth printing to fulfill the demand.
It has been a runaway hit for the publisher.
On September 12th, The 4:8 Principle
reached the #1 spot on Amazon.com and Barnesandnoble.com,
and last week, the book appeared at #4 on The
Wall Street Journal Nonfiction bestseller list. This
Sunday, September 30th, the book will debut at #3 on The New
York Times Hardcover Advice/How-To list.
So what is the message of the book that
seems to be resonating with so many individuals? The
4:8 Principle has a simple message: Joy
is a choice and it's completely predictable.
Research indicates that the average person
thinks approximately 50,000 thoughts per day. Each thought
either moves us to our full potential, or away from it. Newberry
believes that if we seek out and dwell on the positives in
our lives, this is the true secret to vibrant health, satisfying
relationships, and lasting fulfillment.
Newberry, who is the founder and head coach
of The 1% Club, an organization dedicated to helping entrepreneurs
and their families maximize their full potential, always believed
his book was going to connect with the market.
"I've been teaching The 4:8 Principle for
almost 16 years and I've witnessed individuals and marriages
transformed using the simple, but deeply effective methods
I write about in the book," says Newberry. "However, what
has happened in the first two weeks since the book's launch
on September 1st has certainly exceeded our already very high
expectations".
Once Tyndale House Publishers saw the manuscript
for The 4:8 Principle, they also knew the book had potential.
"So many people are seeking joy and satisfaction in their
life," says Maria Eriksen, senior marketing manager at
Tyndale House Publishers. "The core of The 4:8 Principle
is based on a passage from one of the world's most esteemed
publications the Bible.
Whether Christian or not, the concept of
taking Biblical wisdom and using it to improve one's thought
life is a sound practice regardless of religion", says Eriksen.
Tyndale House Publishers is considered to
be one of the leading Christian publishing houses in the country.
The 4:8 Principle will be the third title by Tyndale House
that currently appears on The New York Times bestseller listing
(Tony Dungy's Quiet Strength spent nine weeks on the Hardcover
Non-Fiction list, and Karen Kingsbury's Summer is currently
at #15 for Paperback Fiction).
Tommy is an Atlanta-based life coach and is available for
interviews.
